How can I delete my Stencil account?

If you'd like to delete your account with Stencil, we can help you. We will require that you contact support in order to do so. We need you to do this because once an account is deleted, there is no way to recover this information. This is irreversible, in part to ensure we're in compliance with the  EU GDPR regulation.

Please note that the following will be deleted:

  • Any images you've saved
  • Any images you downloaded
  • Any logos or watermarks you've uploaded
  • Any images you've marked as a "favorite"
  • Any collections you've created, and the images within those
  • Any fonts you've uploaded
  • Your name and email address

Please note that the following will not be deleted:

  • If you upgraded to a paid Stencil account, we will not delete records indicating any financial transactions. This is for legal and regulatory reasons, in the off chance that we need to provide a government body with our financial records (for example, in an audit).

    Having said that, we do not store your full credit card number or CVC code on our servers. This is entrusted to our payment processor, Stripe.
