The Stencil WordPress plugin isn't working
From time to time, you may run into issues with our Stencil WordPress plugin. Here are a few things to try and help resolve the issue:
- If you're using Safari to access your WordPress Admin, and you get a message or alert about Stencil not being able to access your cookies while it's setting it up, this may be related to some overly-aggressive Safari Security settings. Here is how you can get around this:
1. Open a new tab in Safari
2. Visit https://getstencil.com/app in that new tab
3. Wait for the that page to load
4. Re-load the WordPress Admin page
5. Try to load Stencil through your WordPress Admin again - If you're using Chrome, it's possible that you're loading an older version of the Stencil WordPress Plugin. We've updated it, and the newest version can be found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/stencil/
By having the newest version of the Stencil Plugin installed, it should fix some lingering problems that may come up.
If neither of these things work, please make sure your browser is set to accept cookies from 3rd parties. Since the Stencil WordPress Plugin works by embedding an IFrame in your admin area, we need to be able to access your cookies in order to log you into your Stencil account.
