What types of images can I upload to Stencil?

Stencil tries to be the simplest online graphic editor.
At the moment, you can upload images of the following image types:

• JPEG (as either an image/jpg or image/jpeg file-format)
• PNG (including images that have transparency, and images that are opaque)
• GIF (including images that have transparency, and images that are opaque)
• WebP
• SVG (aka vectors)
• Animated GIF (including images that have transparency, and images that are opaque)
  Note: Just the first frame of the animated GIF will appear in the canvas.
• Animated WebP
  Note: Just the first frame of the animated WebP image will appear  in  the canvas.
